BRENDA MCCOMBIE, ADMINISTRATOR
Brenda McCombie is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in environmental design/architecture. She began her professional career as a supervisor for DuPont. While working for DuPont, she continued post graduate studies in business management. Mrs. McCombie held several positions in marketing and management with local businesses. She started two successful design businesses, selling one and closing the second to become the founding chair person of Coastal Christian High School. Mrs. McCombie volunteered in this role for six years, stepping down to chair the Capital Campaign. She successfully led the fundraising efforts that resulted in the building of the CCHS facility and then stepped off of the Board of Directors in the fall of 2012 to become the Executive Development Director for Coastal. She has since completed two major projects: the varsity home baseball field and the new multi-purpose soccer field. Mrs. McCombie was appointed to the position of Administrator on August 14, 2014. In her personal life, she has been married to Paul for 27 years and is the mother of Austin and Grace, both CCHS graduates. Mrs. McCombie has been an active member of Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church for 36 years.
